Personalized tag soups  TagCloud is an automated Folksonomy tool. Essentially, TagCloud searches any number of RSS feeds you specify, extracts keywords from the content and lists them according to prevalence within the RSS feeds. Clicking on the tags link will display a list of all the article abstracts associated with that keyword. Without the 'you specify' part, it could be a description for the Buzz thingy. :-) Now seriously, TagCloud is a spin-off from the Yahoo Tag Soup, created by the same guys, built on top of Yahoo!'s content analysis web service... a thing that inspired me to do the Buzz, based on some Portuguese feeds. But why a personalized version ? Yes, it's cool to build your own 'tag soup' based on feeds that *you* specify. But one thing is to build a 'proof of concept' just to show off something, another is to have all this work to build a complete site which services... tag soups ?... with no apparent business model! Ads driven ? Can't think of one. ps: The logo is brilliant!
