Porsche em alta
Porsche Ibérica registou um aumento de vendas de 499 veículos, face ao ano anterior, para um total de 2.576 unidades, no último exercício fiscal, um novo recorde da marca nos mercados de Espanha e Portugal.

Em Portugal, e apenas nos primeiros sete meses deste ano, a marca alemã vendeu 182 unidades, mais 50 viaturas que em igual período do ano passado.

Obviamente que a explicação dada para o caso espanhol... «o bom momento económico que se vive em Espanha», não pode ser usada em Portugal pq nós estamos de tanga. Bom, alguns pelo menos...

In other news e para justificar mais um post sobre Porsches...
Porsche USA (and Germany) saw a relaunch today. The site's now completely done in XHTML1.0 Strict and CSS2, along with Ajax, a lot of amazing graphics, movies, and what-not.

Até na web estão mais á frente... ;-)

Postcrossing

Stumbled across this site the other day, but paid no attention. Hell, i don't read much(books that is) so the "concept" it's based upon, Bookcrossing, didn't made me pay any attention until i got tipped at work about the author. It's Portuguese!

Well, so what's it about then...
In short: the objective of postcrossing project is to allow people to receive mail (not email, but real snail mail) from random people from all over the world. Oh, and it's absolutly free, meaning, if you send a postcard, you'll receive one back from another random user (and probably another from the person you wrote to).

There are also some neat maps and stats.
I love the ideia... as of today, there are 553 users registered from 31 countries. Lets see how it goes. :-)

Btw, it's PHP+Smarty+Apache+MySQL.

Update: Ciberia picked this up. I wonder why... ;-)
