I had no idea... By now its no secret that Dells 2005fpw and Apples 20-inch Cinema Displayuse the exact same LG.Philips LCD (literally, its part# LM201W01). Of course, that 100%+ price differential can be a bit hard to swallow with the Dell going for as little as $350 on sale, and the Apple only today cutting their prices on the screen to $800
Well, that means that I won't buy the Apple monitor. I was thinking about that, but since it's much more expensive (à la Apple) and albeit being very cute, I won't have any doubts about Dell.

dell uk is charging £370, i believe. that's how british companies convert dollars to sterling, they change the symbol, the bastards.

Dell Spain seems fine: they are running a special discount that drop the price to 502€ (much more acceptable than those 370£).
